Inkberry offered its first free ‘zine writing workshop this spring in cooperation with Youth Center, Inc. with the help of a generous grant from the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
“A to ‘Zine,” designed and authored by students from Adams Memorial Middle School, is the result of a five week workshop on ‘zine writing taught by writer Kate Merrigan and made possible by a grant from the William J. and Margery S. Barrett Fund for Adams, Cheshire, and Savoy.
This Friday, the contributors of “A to ‘Zine” will be reading from their poems and essays at Cafe Topia at 6 pm. The reading is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served. Copies of “A to ‘Zine” will be on hand at the reading. Join us!
